40 Days to Awesome

I found this book on accident during the start of the pandemic. Although I’ve been able to attract things to me and understand many of its concepts, I wasn’t really happy and money was always tight. Never really feeling like I can quite make it. Even though this book focuses on money, you can use it for any area of your life. And what I like so much about it is that even though it teaches you how to gain more income or things on the outside, it also teaches you how to shift from a deeper place and that change on the outside really only comes from the inside and I’ve been diligently practicing every day. Thank you for this life-changing book! I don’t know, maybe I’m just finally ready!!

If a book can be measured in how much it changes a life, then this book truly deserves five stars. Julie Dankovich’s style is almost hard to read at first – her flamboyant style and her outrageous personality come through in every word, and it can be a little much to take at first. Unlike the false smarm of the self-help set, her personality is organic and real, just blazing. I bought this, a little hesitant, unbelieving. Reading a book does not improve your finances. Reading this book, however, improved my *life.* Once I started breaking out of the scarcity mindset, where everyone has to fight for every scrap they have, things began to change rapidly. Once I learned about abundance, and believed that it was a valid mindset and not just sunshine up the wazoo, I have noticed improvements in my marriage, with my son, and in interactions with strangers. Julie (if I may be so bold as to be on a first name basis) has made me laugh, made me think, and has challenged old patterns that weren’t healthy or beneficial. It’s been a long time since I’ve read a book that made me want to recommend it to dearest friends and people in line at the grocery store, but this is it. I can only recommend to give it a try. I was a skeptic of the power of positive thinking, but now I am sold. I hope I get to meet Julie in person someday just to say thank you.
